At the "International Symposium and Combatant Command Surgeon's Conference" the R-Bay project was introduced to a group of top-level US military members.

A forerunner of the R-Bay project, Baltic eHealth, has been announced a Computerworld "Lauterate 2008" for its work on building a secure and reliable infrastructure (Baltic Health Network) for the cross-border exchange of e.g. radiological images.
The award will be given in Washington D.C. on June 2nd 2008.

The R-Bay project was disseminated at the European Congress of Radiology 2008 at the Carestream Health stand.

During the kick-off meeting in Tallinn 22-23 August 2007, a press conference was held involving some of the key players in the project. This generated news coverage in Estonian TV, newspapers and Internet news.
